The body of a man has been discovered on a beach near a harbour in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to the beach at Banff Harbour around 10.40am on Wednesday.
Police said enquiries into the death are “ongoing”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.40am on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, we were made aware that the body of a man was found on the beach at Banff Harbour.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
