Bomb squads have been called to a beach in Aberdeen with a police cordon in place.
Officers were called to a report of a suspected unexploded ordnance on Aberdeen Beach, Esplanade in the city around 9.25am on Tuesday.
Police are at the scene, and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team have been made aware.
