A boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Aberdeen.
The 11-year-old was struck by the vehicle at Victoria Road on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the scene at 7.50am and the road was closed between Abbey Place and Mansfield Road.
The child has been taken to hospital for treatment and the route has since reopened.
A Police Scotland statement said: “Officers attended at Victoria Road in Aberdeen at 7.50am following a crash involving a 11-year-old male pedestrian and a car.
“The boy has been taken to hospital for treatment and the road is re-opened.”
