A 17-year-old boy has been charged following an attack on a member of staff at a school in Dundee.
The assault took place before lunchtime on Friday at the secondary school in the city.
Police Scotland did not name the school.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 11.40am on Friday, 22 March, police were called to a report of a member of staff assaulted at a high school in Dundee.
“A 17-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with this assault.
“He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court at a later date.
“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
