Two men have been charged after a cannabis farm with a street value of around £400,000 was found.

On Monday, January 30, police in Broughty Ferry arrested and charged a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old man in connection with the discovery.

Officers recovered the cultivation and the two were to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, January 31.

A report was sent to the Procurator Fiscal and officers are continuing to carry out enquiries in the area.

Inspector Keith Anderson said: “Tackling illegal drugs and removing this from our communities continues to be a priority for us.

“We rely on the support of the public to build intelligence on drug-related issues so that we can act on their concerns. 

“I would urge anyone who is aware of any information about the supply of drugs to report the matter to police through 101.
