There are now 17 cases of coronavirus linked to an outbreak at a chicken factory in Perth and Kinross.
Fifteen employees at the 2 Sisters food processing plant in Coupar Angus have tested positive, in addition to another two people in the wider community.
The factory has been shut down for a two-week period as authorities try to get the cluster under control and contact tracing is ongoing.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the figures will be updated after a meeting of the Incident Management Team later, adding: “I would expect these figures to rise from those that I’ve reported now.”
The factory’s 900 workers have been advised to self-isolate and a mobile testing unit remains at the site, so the workforce can be tested.
Another 50 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland in the last 24 hours.
No new coronavirus deaths have been reported, but the death toll has increased by one to 2492 due to a previous fatality being added to the figures.
Sturgeon said the death was registered on April 21 but not included in original figures due to a delay.
