A child has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car on Friday afternoon in Perthshire.
Emergency services were called to Main Road in Aberuthven shortly before 1pm to the incident.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said an ambulance, trauma team and air ambulance were dispatched to the scene and the child was taken by air to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.
The child’s condition is currently unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.55pm on Friday, November 10, 2023, we were called to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
“Emergency services are in attendance.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12.50pm to attend an incident on Main Road, Aberuthven, Perthshire.
“An ambulance, air ambulance and trauma team were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported by air to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.”
