A chimney has fallen from a roof in Aberdeen as high winds batter the city.
Fire crews were called to the scene on Rosemount Place in the city around 2.30pm on Monday.
One fire engine and a high-rise vehicle attended the scene as teams worked to make the chimney stack safe.
It follows a yellow weather warning which was put in place by the Met Office for the north east and Highlands, as snow and winds of up to 70 mph battered the country.
Meanwhile, police attended the scene to direct traffic as Westburn Road and Watson Street were closed to motorists while firefighters dealt with the issue.
Fire crews left the scene around 3.30pm having ensured the chimney stack was safe and roads were reopened shortly afterwards.
