A man has been charged after police discovered cocaine worth £120,000 following a disturbance in Dundee.

Officers were called to a property on Kinghorne Place at around 9.40pm on Tuesday.

While investigating, the haul of drugs was discovered within a vehicle parked outside.

A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the discovery. He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday.

Detective sergeant David Feeney said: “Drugs cause misery and harm in our communities and we remain committed to disrupting this illegal activity and holding those involved to account.

“Information from the public is vital and we would urge anyone with concerns to contact us.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
