A man who went missing from Moray has been found “safe and well”.
Oscar McLean was last seen in the High Street area of Elgin around 3pm on Thursday.
Officers issued an appeal on Friday morning after becoming increasingly concerns for the 22-year-old’s wellbeing.
Police confirmed on Friday morning around 8am that the man had been traced “safe and well”.
Sergeant David Leil said: “Oscar is a shy individual and has not returned home when expected and his family are concerned for his welfare.
“I’d appeal to anyone who was in the Moray area on Thursday or overnight and thinks they may have seen someone matching his description to come forward.
“Also, anyone who may have has seen the blue Hyundai Bayon registration SY24 VVM is urged to get in contact with us.
“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 0155 of May 31.”
