Police Scotland says ‘concerns are growing’ for the welfare of a man who disappeared in an Aberdeenshire town on Saturday.

Peter Wilson was last seen around 9.15pm on Seaforth Road in Fraserburgh heading south in the direction of The Links.

The 60-year-old is described as 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and wears glasses. When last seen, Peter was wearing blue jeans, a brown jumper with white stripes, a navy jacket with white fleece lining and a black woolly hat.

Sergeant Richard Barnwell said: “This is out of character for Peter, and concerns are growing for his welfare.

“I am asking that anyone who knows where Peter may be or who has seen someone matching his description contact local officers.

“I’d also ask that those living locally check their gardens and outbuildings.”

Those with information are urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3009 of November 30, 2025.
