Fire crews remain at the scene after a blaze broke out at a tenement block in Dundee.
Emergency services were called to the building on the corner of Graham Place and Princes Street at around 8.40pm on Thursday.
Flames could be seen rising up through the roof of the tenement that has the Princes Street Premier Convenience Store and Laings Appliances on the ground floor.
Police confirmed that a number of residents were evacuated but no injuries were reported.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service deployed six appliances to the scene with crews still in attendance as of 10pm.
As of 7.30am on Friday, firefighters remain on site alongside one fire engine and a height appliance.
An SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.40pm on Thursday, September 5 to reports of a fire within a residential building on Graham Place in Dundee.
“Operations Control mobilised six fire engines and a height appliance to the scene.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.50pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024, police received a report of a flat fire in the Graham Place area of Dundee.
“A number of residents were evacuated, with no injuries reported. Officers continue to assist our colleagues from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service at the scene.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 9.07pm on September 5, to attend an incident on Graham Place, Dundee.
“An ambulance and two special operations response teams (SORT) were dispatched to the scene.
“No patients were transported to hospital.”
