A cyclist is in hospital after being involved in a crash with a car at a roundabout in Aberdeen.
Police were called to reports of a collision between a bike rider and a driver at the Duthie Roundabout in the city at around 6.10pm on Wednesday, February 14.
The male cyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Meanwhile the driver of the car, who was not injured in the collision, will be subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
A large police presence was in the area following the collision on Riverside Drive and Great Southern Road, as part of the road leading up to the roundabout was closed off for a period.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Around 6.10pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, police received a report of a road crash involving a cyclist and a car at the Duthie Roundabout in Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and the male cyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was not injured.
“The driver of the car will be subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
