A dad who died in a crash after driving on the wrong side of the M90 has been named.

During a police patrol on Friday, an officer in a marked car witnessed a Ford Kuga travelling towards them in the wrong direction on the roundabout near Junction 6 Kinross at around 10.30pm.

The car continued onto the southbound carriageway of the motorway, travelling north.

The police car activated its blue lights and drove onto the northbound carriageway. The officer then came across a head-on collision involving the Kuga and a Vauxhall Corsa.
