An investigation has been launched into the “unexplained” death of a seven-month-old baby in Aberdeen.
Officers were called to Marchburn Park in the Northfield area of the city on Saturday morning following reports of the boy’s “sudden” passing.
Enquiries are ongoing to determine the cause of the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, Police Scotland confirmed.
“Officers were called to Marchburn Park, Aberdeen at around 9.20am on Saturday, October 29 following the sudden death of a seven month old baby boy,” a statement from the force read.
“It is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
