A man has been found dead at a flat in Peterhead with police treating the incident as “unexplained“.
Officers attended the scene on Longate at around 9pm on Thursday, March 21.
A 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the death is being treated as “unexplained” and inquiries remain ongoing at this time.
A spokesperson said: “Around 9pm on Thursday, March 21, police were called to flats in Longate, Peterhead.
“A 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries are continuing.”
