Death of man found in home treated as 'unexplained'

The death of a man found in a Perth home on Thursday is being treated as unexplained.

Emergency services were called to Stuart Avenue at around 4.35pm following the discovery.

Detectives are treating the man’s death as unexplained.

An investigation is ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.35pm on Thursday, 12 February, 2026, officers were called to Stuart Avenue, Perth following the death of a man.

“His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
