A group of raffle winners got more than they expected when their tour boat was joined by a pod of dolphins near Broughty Ferry.
Dr Rebecca Carrotte captured the magical moment while onboard the SaltDog Marine tour boat in the River Tay on Tuesday.
She was one of the guests of Jo, who had won the private trip through a raffle that raised around £2,000 for Broughty Ferry RNLI.
She invited members of Ferry Selkies women’s open water swimming group to enjoy the experience – and got more than they bargained for with the stunning display by the dolphin.
Dr Carrotte shared the video on social media, saying the mammals appeared to be jumping around five metres into the air.
The pod was seen leaping out of the water and racing alongside the boat, putting on a “spectacular” show for the group.
