Around 40 firefighters are tackling a blaze in Moray and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent 11 fire engines, a high reach apparatus, a water carrier, a welfare unit and an incident support vehicle to the house on the B9015 in Orton, near Fochabers, shortly before 11am on Monday.
It was confirmed that there are no reported casualties at the large detached house.
The B9015 to the B9103 is closed towards Orton Bridge and Inchberry Hall as a result of the fire and drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
A police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a fire at a premises on the B9015 in Orton, Fochabers, around 11.30am on Monday, May 15.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the B9015 to the B9103 is closed towards Orton Bridge and Inchberry Hall.
“Drivers are asked to avoid the area.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.53am on Monday, May 15 to reports of a dwelling fire near Fochabers, Moray.
“Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances and a number of specialist resources to the scene at the B9015.
“Crews currently remain on scene working to extinguish the fire.
“There are no reported casualties.”
