A 21-year-old driver has died at the scene of a car crash with a lorry in Moray.

The collision happened around 9.15pm on Friday on the A95 between the High Street and the B9138 at Marypark near Aberlour, involving a Renault Clio car and a Scania lorry.

Emergency services attended, and the driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle prior to get in touch with officers.

“I’d also ask that those driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
