A pensioner has suffered facial injuries after being headbutted in a row over a parking space in Perthshire.
The man in his 70s was assaulted by another man after a verbal altercation outside the Co-op store in Bridge of Earn on Thursday morning.
The victim was assisted by members of the public after the incident, which happened on the town’s Main Street around 11.50am.
Police are now looking to trace a man described as white, in his late 50s to early 60s, about 6ft in height and of medium build with white/grey hair.
He was also wearing glasses, appeared to be well-dressed and drove off in a dark red SUV type car, which possibly had a 67 plate registration.
Officers want to speak to any potential witnesses of the incident and have asked them to contact police on 101.
