A man was “lucky” to escape injury after crashing a car he was driving without a licence or insurance, police said.
Emergency services were called to the A923 between Dundee and Dunkeld on Sunday after the vehicle left the road.
Road police officers said the driver did not had permission to drive the car.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “We attended an RTC on the A923.
“The driver was lucky to escape injury but didn’t escape repercussions after he was found to have no licence, insurance or permission to have the vehicle.
“Always drive to the conditions… and with proper documentation.”
