Drivers have been warned of delays after a crash forced the A92 in Aberdeenshire to close in both directions on Wednesday morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the road at Muchhalls Bridge near Newtonhill following reports of a collision at around 6.30am.
The A92 was initially closed in both directions following the incident, however, Traffic Scotland has since confirmed that a lane on each carriageway has reopened.
The number of vehicles involved and the nature of any injuries is not yet known.
A Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: “The A92 at Bridge of Muchalls is now OPEN in both directions. Traffic is able to pass in one lane on both carriageways.
“Please take care on approach. Travel time is just under ten mins (Appx).”
