A drug dealer who was linked to cocaine worth more than £400,000 has been jailed for more than four years.
Kai Buchan admitted being concerned in the supply of the Class A drug on two occasions at different locations in Dundee, when he appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh.
The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences after a raid on a flat in Provost Road in February last year uncovered four kilos of cocaine, worth an estimated street value of around £400,000.
He was sentenced to four years and nine months imprisonment at the High Court in Livingston.
Detective inspector Gary Lamb said: “Kai Buchan supplied illegal drugs to make money, with no regard for the harm and misery these drugs brought to people’s lives.
“Removing illegal drugs from our communities and targeting the criminals and networks involved remains a top priority for us, and I hope this judgment reinforces that and sends a clear message: if you are dealing drugs, we will pursue you and bring you to justice.
“I would like to reassure everyone that we will continue our proactive work and collaboration with partners to remove harmful substances from our streets and protect those living in our local communities.”
