A man and a woman were seen in the area walking together with two grey Welsh terrier type dogs at the time of the incident.

Police are hunting a dog walker after an elderly man was pushed off his bike in Aberdeenshire.

The 72-year-old man was seriously injured after being pushed while cycling on the beach promenade on South Harbour Road in Fraserburgh between 10am and 11am on November 28.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The male suspect was seen walking two grey Welsh Terrier-type dogs and was accompanied by a woman at the time of the incident.

Sergeant Sam Hewett said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or saw the man and woman to contact us.

“I would also urge anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time to get in touch, as it could assist with our investigation.”
