Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a crash on the A9 in Perth as drivers face delays of up to 40 minutes.
The collision, between two vehicles, occurred near the Crossgates and Broxden Roundabout just after 8am on Monday morning.
Multiple police vehicles were called to the scene and are currently diverting traffic.
The northbound carriageway has been closed.
It comes as the UK had its coldest night of the year with Scotland plummeting below -15C.

Drivers in the area have been warned to expect delays of up to 40 minutes and have been urged to find alternative routes where possible
Images released by Traffic Scotland cameras show the extend of the tailbacks with a large number of HGVs caught up in the delays.
There is currently no detail of injuries at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45am on Monday December 12, police received a report of a two-vehicle road crash on the A9, approximately half a mile from Broxden Roundabout. Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed.”
