Fire crews remain at the scene of a huge fire at a laundrette in Perth and Kinross.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to reports of a building fire on Emma Street in Blairgowrie at around 7.02pm on Friday.
Nine fire engines were initially deployed, and one crew now remains to make the area safe.
No injuries have been reported and members of the public have been asked to avoid the area, with a road closure in place.
Dramatic footage from Friday night showed onlookers gasp as an explosion at the property sent an enormous fireball into the sky.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and rescue Service said: “We received a call at 7.02pm to a report of a building fire in Emma Street, Blairgowrie on Friday, October 28.
“Operations Control mobilised a total of nine appliances to the incident and one is currently still in attendance. No casualties were reported.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20pm on Friday, 28 October 2022, police received a report of a fire at premises on Emma Street in Blairgowrie.
“Officers have been in attendance to assist the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
“A road closure is in place with limited local access available and officers remain in attendance.”
