The family of a teenage boy who died after being hit by a car while cycling said they were “devastated” by their loss.
Cairn Rankine, a 15-year-old from Dundee, was struck on the city’s Pitkerro Road around 7.15pm on Thursday.

“Our investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash to speak to officers.”
