A fire, which took hold at a primary school in Aberdeen on Saturday, is being treated as deliberate by detectives.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at Dyce Primary School on Gordon Terrace at around 3pm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service initially sent two engines to the scene. A further two engines and a height appliance were later sent to assist.
Images taken from the scene show firefighters climbing ladders to access the roof to assess any damage.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigators are treating the incident as deliberate and they are following a positive line of enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, police were made aware of a fire at a school on Gordon Terrace, Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
