The presence of fire crews at a recycling centre in Dundee is being scaled down more than a week after a blaze took hold of the site.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire affecting a large area within the centre on Wright Avenue on Thursday, September 4.
Three engines were initially dispatched to the scene to tackle the fire.
The operation has been scaled back to two engines and one specialist unit. The fire service says it is “making significant progress” to extinguish the blaze.

A spokesperson said: “Two appliances and a specialist resource remain in attendance at an incident at a recycling centre on Wright Avenue in Dundee.
“We are making significant progress at the scene and are working towards scaling down the resources we have in attendance.
“Smoke levels across the local area have reduced significantly. If residents continue to experience smoke/odour, they are advised to close windows and doors as a precaution.”
