Fire crews are tackling a blaze in Aberdeenshire after a lorry crashed and burst into flames.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Cairn O’ Mount road, Fettercairn, at around 6.52pm on Thursday, June 8.
Four fire engines were dispatched from Laurencekirk, Brechin and Banchory, and remain in attendance.
Police are also in the area to help with traffic management, and have asked drivers to take alternate routes.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023, we received a report of a lorry on fire at Cairn O Mount Road, Fettercairn.
“Emergency services are in attendance and a number of road closures are in place.
“The public are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.”
