Fire crews battle blaze at industrial estate as residents urged to shut doors

Fire crews are battling a large blaze at an Aberdeenshire industrial estate.

The flames took hold at a site in Tipperty near Ellon on Tuesday. A video of the scene shows thick smoke billowing near a red warehouse.

Residents living nearby have been urged to shut their windows and doors due to the high volume of smoke in the area.

Drivers travelling on the stretch of the A90 close to the affected site have also been asked to take extra care due to the smoke drifting across the road.

It is not known whether there were any injuries.
