Fire crews battled a blaze in a car park, which destroyed a number of vans in Inverkeithing.
Emergency services were called to the fire at Back’oyards, behind the former Queen’s Hotel on the town’s High Street, around 7.20am on Friday.
A number of vans were said to be alight, with three fire engines sent to the scene.
Images on social media showed plumes of smoke visible for miles.
Fire crews left the scene at 9.27am, and there are no reported injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20am on Friday, August 29, 2025, we received a report of a premises on fire in Back O Yards, Inverkeithing.
“Emergency services are in attendance. There are no reports of injuries.
“Enquiries into the cause of the fire are ongoing.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.02am on Friday, August 29, to reports of a number of vehicles on fire on Church Street, Inverkeithing.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene to extinguish the fires.
“There were no reported casualties, and crews left at 9.27am after ensuring the area was made safe.”
