A fire has ripped through a plot of new-build houses in Dundee, with crews tackling the blaze overnight.
Emergency services were called to reports of volumes of smoke from a fire at Whitfield Drive in Dundee around 9.55pm on Thursday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent four appliances and a height reach vehicle to the scene of the fire spread across a number of uninhabited new-build properties.
Smoke was travelling across nearby areas, with residents urged to keep windows and doors closed.

Police Scotland say a number of road closures remain in place, and members of the public should avoid the area.
Fire crews confirmed on Friday morning that four pumps and a height appliance were used to extinguish the fire, and that they left the scene just after 4.30am.
