A fly-through video released by NHS Grampian is allowing people the first glimpse of new facilities planned for a new hospital in Aberdeen.
The £232.2m Baird Family Hospital and ANCHOR Centre is scheduled for completion in 2023.
Construction on the project, which is located on the city’s Foresterhill Health Campus, began in January.
It involves the development of two new facilities serving people of the north-east and north of Scotland, including the northern isles, comprising of the 26,000 square metre Baird Family Hospital and 5500 square metre ANCHOR Centre.
Jackie Bremner, project director, said: “Current Covid restrictions have prevented a more traditional, start on site, launch event.
“However, we are thrilled to be able to show the population of Grampian and north of Scotland what these world-class facilities will look like, and how they will support patients and families through their journey of care.
“These hospitals will help ensure an excellent, work and care environment for the people of Grampian and NHS staff for decades to come.”
