Firefighters battled a large blaze on an Aberdeen hillside.
Emergency services were alerted to the fire on Kincorth Hill shortly before 9am on Wednesday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) mobilised two engines and a forestry unit.
Pictures from the scene showed large plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.
The flames were eventually brought under control.
No one was injured.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.57am on Wednesday, February 12, to reports of an outdoor fire at Kincorth Hill, Aberdeen.
“Operations control mobilised two appliances and specialist resources to the scene.
“Firefighters extinguished the fire and left after making the area safe.
“There were no casualties.”
