Four men have been charged after an alleged stabbing at a hotel used to house asylum seekers in Aberdeenshire.
Police were called to the Hampton by Hilton Hotel in Westhill around 10.45am on Friday following reports of the incident.
A 26-year-old man was found to have been assaulted by a group of men and suffered a facial injury.
A weapon was recovered from the scene.
Officers say the incident was contained, and there was no wider risk to the public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a premises in the Gordon Park area of Westhill, Aberdeenshire, at around 10.45am on Friday, November 28, 2025, following a report of an assault.
“A 26-year-old man was assaulted by a group of men and suffered a facial injury as a result. A weapon has been recovered from the scene.
“Four men have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“The incident is believed to be contained, and there is no wider risk to the public.”
