Four teenagers have been taken to hospital after a one-car-crash in Aberdeenshire.
Officers were alerted to the crash that happened on Union Road, MacDuff at around 3am on Sunday.
Three men aged 17, 18,19 and one woman aged 18 were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The road was closed for a number of hours with drivers and pedestrians warned to avoid the area.
Police said enquiries into the crash are “ongoing”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3am on Sunday, September 8, 2024, officers were called to a report of a one car crash in Union Road, Macduff.
“Emergency services attended and three men aged 17, 18 and 19 and 18-year-old woman were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
