A busy road in Aberdeenshire is closed in both directions following a four-vehicle crash.
The incident happened on the A93 at North Deeside Road in Banchory on Monday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police are currently in attendance at a road crash involving four vehicles on the A93, near Tesco on North Deeside Rd, Banchory.
“No details on any injury, if any, at this time. The A93 is closed in both directions until further notice.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent three appliances and a heavy rescue unit to the scene.
An SFRS spokeswoman said: “We received a call from the Scottish Ambulance Service at 3.38pm, for a road traffic collision involving four vehicles.
“The SFRS has three appliances in attendance. The stop message was passed at 4.09pm, there are four casualties.”
