Fans of The Odyssey have been given a fresh look at Christopher Nolan’s epic in a new trailer after filming took place in Scotland.
The acclaimed director’s adaptation of Homer’s epic poem will be released in cinemas in July this year.
Hollywood names such as Tom Holland, Matt Damon and Zendaya were spotted during filming in Moray last year.
Filming for the “mythic action” movie took place at Findlater Castle overlooking the Moray Firth.

Universal StudiosThe world’s largest ocean-going Viking-style longship sailed into Buckie Harbour as part of the shoot in the north of Scotland.
The film boasts an ensemble cast jam-packed with stars, including Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron and Jon Bernthal.
The movie follows the Ancient Greek king of Ithaca’s journey home after the Trojan War.
In the trailer, Damon says in character: “We won a war, help me go home.”
Damon is also shown sailing and leading an army as Odysseus in the film, with the clip also giving a glimpse of some of the movie’s monsters.
Later scenes also show a crowd of suitors attempting to marry Penelope, played by Hathaway, in her husband’s absence.
Nolan and his cast shot the movie brand-new IMAX film technology.
