Fire crews are in attendance at a house in Kinross after it went up in flames on Saturday afternoon.
At around 12.34pm, five fire engines were deployed to the scene on Smith Street.
One man was treated by paramedics, and his condition is currently unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that officers were in attendance for traffic management.
Images show flames and plumes of smoke billowing from the building as emergency vehicles line the street.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “
“We were alerted at 12.34pm on Saturday, January 28 to reports of a fire at a property on Smith Street, Kinross.
“Operations control mobilised five appliances to the scene where firefighters extinguished a fire affecting the first floor of the property.
“One male casualty was handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene at 3.34pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
