Firefighters tackled a blaze at Arbroath harbour after fishing creels went on fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the harbour around 9.40am on Tuesday after reports of a fire in the open.
Images from the scene showed large plumes of smoke coming from the harbour area with a stack of fishing creels well alight.
Two appliances were sent to the scene of a fire measuring approximately 400 square meters.

Police say enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.40am on Tuesday, June 9, to a fire in the open at Arbroath Harbour, Arbroath.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the scene of a fire measuring approximately 20 metres x 20 metres.
“There were no casualties and crews left the scene at 10.52am after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50am on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, we received a report of a fire at Arbroath Harbour.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no reports of any injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.”
