Police are hunting for a driver who knocked down a woman in a car park following a road rage incident in Perth and Kinross.

The driver of a small white van struck the woman at the lower car park of Alyth Golf Club around 6.20pm on Friday.

Officers have established that the incident followed a confrontation and a reported road rage incident on the B954 near Alyth.

The woman was treated by ambulance at the scene.

Police are appealing for a man who was in the car park at the time of the incident to come forward.

Constable Ronan Mackay, of Blairgowrie Police Station, said: “We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.

“We would also ask that people check any private CCTV or dash-cam footage that may have captured the white van in the Alyth area.

“I am also appealing to a man who was within the Alyth Golf Club car park at the time to come forward, as he may have information which could assist our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 2698 of May 15, 2026.
