The victim – who was driving a white Volkswagen Eos – said he was threatened and verbally abused after a near-miss with a black Mercedes on an Angus road.

The Mercedes driver also had a small child in the car with him.

The incident allegedly happened at the junction of Lochlands Street and Cairnie Street in Arbroath at around 4.35pm last Wednesday.

Police are appealing for information.
