A teenager has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked onboard a bus in Dundee.
Emergency services were called to Liff Road on Friday around 6.10pm after a man got on board an Xplore bus outside the Whip Inn and assaulted the 17-year-old.
He was last seen making off in an unknown direction and is described as white, around 5ft 10ins, slim build, in his late teens and was wearing a dark hoodie and dark-coloured jogging bottoms.
The 17-year-old sustained serious injuries and was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Detective constable Jerra Mentiply said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspect and we are asking anyone who saw what happened or knows who the man is to get in touch.
“If you were driving in the area at the time can you please check dash-cam to see if you have captured anything that would help with our investigation.”
