Police are hunting for a dog owner after a woman was bitten on a street in Aberdeen.
At around 9am on Thursday, February 27, the woman was walking near Smithfield Drive when she was approached by a man walking a Border Collie-type dog.
The dog jumped up and bit her, and she was taken to hospital for treatment.
The man is described as white, between 50 and 60 years old, with white hair and was wearing a distinctive black leather jacket with tartan lining.
The dog is described as black and white with a large white patch on it’s chest and was wearing a blue rope collar.
Constable Matthew Dickinson said: “We are appealing for anyone that may have saw this man last Thursday or knows anyone matching this description.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1660 of February 28.”
