Police are hunting for two men after a disturbance in Aberdeen, and say they are aware of a video circulating online from the incident.

Officers received reports of a number of people involved in an altercation around 9.50pm on Tuesday, April 1 in King Street.

Police attended but those involved had made off from the scene, with officers searching for two men in connection.

The first is described as black, and was wearing a black cap, a white and dark coloured checked jacket, grey trousers and black shoes.

The second man is described as black, with dark coloured hair, and a beard. He was wearing a light coloured jacket, black trousers and light coloured trainers.

Police said they are aware of a video circulating on social media from the incident.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce, Local Area Commander said: “We are keen to trace two men in connection.

“One is described as black, and was wearing a black cap, a white and dark coloured checked jacket, grey trousers and black shoes.

“The second man is described as black, with dark coloured hair, and a beard. He was wearing a light coloured jacket, black trousers and light coloured trainers.

“There haven’t been any reports of anyone injured.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident to contact us.

“I’m aware of a video circulating on social media and I would ask the person who captured the footage to get in touch or anyone who knows where it originated from to come forward.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 4034 of Tuesday, April 1 2025.”
