Nearly 100 sheep worth an estimated £20,000 have been stolen from a farm in Auchterarder.
A total of 30 ewes and 60 lambs were taken from the Blackford area between August 13 and September 3.
The owner carried out searches of vast moorland and made local enquiries to ensure the animals hadn’t gone missing or wandered off before reporting the theft to police.
Investigations are under way to determine what happened to the sheep, and police are appealing for anyone with information that could help to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference CR/ 0380455/25.
Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
