A body found in a flat in Dundee has been confirmed as that of a missing woman.
Sharon Hutchison was last seen in the early hours of Saturday, July 30 in the Provost Road area of Dundee and an appeal was launched to locate her shortly afterwards.
Officers studied CCTV footage and carried out door-to-door enquiries following her disappearance.
However, officers have confirmed that her body was found at a flat in Sandeman Street shortly after 1pm on August 8.
The 54-year-old’s family have been informed and her death is not being treated as suspicious by Police Scotland.

“The most amazing partner, daughter, mother, sister, auntie, granny and friend. Your light will forever shine on in us all.
“Rest peacefully mum, you are love.”
