'Increasing concern' for missing woman last seen near city centre

Police are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a missing woman from Aberdeen.

Linda Grant, from the Cults area of the city, was last seen at around 11am on Thursday, May 9 in the area of Cornhill Road.

The 72-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing glasses, blue skinny jeans and a dark coloured top.

Inspector Lisa Kerr, Bucksburn Police Office, said: “We’re becoming increasingly concerned for Linda’s welfare and it’s vital we trace her as soon as possible.

“Anyone who thinks they’ve seen someone matching Linda’s description, or anyone with information on her whereabouts, is urged to come forward.

“Linda, if you see this appeal, please make contact with police so we can ensure you’re safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1937 of May 9.
